Ministry Update

We saw more than 550 decisions for Christ, many churches strengthened and encouraged and hundreds of people set free during the month of October! God is faithful!

We started the month off in the United States in St Louis, and Chris had the opportunity to speak to the girls at Mercy Ministries from both Munroe and the St Louis homes (always a highlight!). While we were there, we also ministered at Destiny Church and St Louis Family Church (which are both incredible and passionate about reaching the lost!!), as well as attended the Joyce Meyer "Relentless" women’s conference - which was off the charts! God is speaking loudly to us all – Do not give up! Keep on going – whatever season you are in!

From there we jetted across the ocean to London for the Hillsong Europe Conference. After over a decade of sowing into Europe, we are almost jumping out of our seats with expectation and anticipation of all that was unleashed. We so believe like never before that the Church of Jesus Christ will advance as a powerful force bringing life, hope and answers to Europe. A new generation is arising with unprecedented passion, and we will no longer define European Christianity by the good old days, but rather by the awesome future that holds the best. The conference was absolutely inspiring to say the least, and we cannot wait to see the fruit that will soon follow throughout the churches in that continent.

After this conference, Nick went to Africa and then Greece (more on that in a minute), while Chris headed back over to the States. Chris went to Springfield, Missouri, and helped open James River Assembly’s “Designed For Life” women’s conference. It was amazing to see the daughters rise above where they are and be launched into the next chapter of their destiny.

From Missouri, Chris went to freezing Sioux Centre, Iowa to lecture for a few days at Dordt College. She had such a great time there sharing about how to Stop Acting Like a Christian and Just Be One. She loved imparting into the next generation of leaders and world changers.

Then Nick and Chris met up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for the Live the Dream women’s conference at Healing Place Church. The POWER of God turned up while we where there across the conference and weekend services! Our team back in Australia also got to experience some of the amazing things God was doing LIVE in Baton Rouge as they watched via webcast (how great is technology these days?!). What a phenomenal age to live in and serve God! People all over the world were right there with us, and I know that thousands of lives were impacted forever!

While we’ve been ministering across the USA, Project Europe has continued to grow as two of our team members were ministering in Greece, Cyprus, Poland and Spain. They saw unprecedented salvations and were able to help leaders develop strategic plans for churches to more effectively reach their community. The hunger we are finding in these churches is so encouraging!!

As mentioned before, Nick had the opportunity to go to Africa this past month. While he was there he met up with some of our friends from Joyce Meyer Ministries, as well as Watoto. Trips like this are such reminders of the opportunity we have as a Church to rise up and help address the issues of poverty and brokenness in every corner of the world. Nick had the amazing experience of sharing lunch with a few orphans at a Watoto home – he is forever changed!

From there Nick made some last minute plans to make his way to our A21 office in Greece. Our team in Thessaloniki has been finding unbelievable favour in every sector of government and society both locally and nationally.
Nick’s last-minute trip was a result of the latest miracle that has happened with The A21 Campaign – the Prefect’s office in Thessaloniki wants to work with us and give us a fully furnished temporary shelter for the victims!! Nick went to check it out and approve the papers to lease the shelter for a year. I am almost speechless at the goodness of God (and that is saying a lot)!

AND, just last week Nick was also invited to the White House to attend a summit on human trafficking which was run by the State Department for faith-based initiatives. The connections and doors of opportunity that are opening are truly Ephesians 3:20 kind of favour to say the least!

God is making it abundantly clear that NOW is the time to rise up and address the horrible atrocities of human trafficking and injustice. We cannot wait to see what God has in store, as it is becoming undeniably obvious that He is positioning us before the leaders and “kings” of nations. *Watch this space!*
